LEHI, Utah (ABC4) — A new retail area is coming to Lehi, called The Shops at Sky View, with plans to open a new Target and a Life Time in the city.
According to a press release from the Gardner Group, Gardner-Plumb and Landmark Property & Development have secured Life Time and Target, among other “major national brands and lifestyle destinations,” as anchors for its new retail development.
The Shops at Sky View will be located at the intersection of Traverse Terrace Drive and Center Street, just southeast of the Outlets at Traverse Mountain. The new development will cover more than 300,000 square feet across 15 buildings.
“Located in one of Utah’s fastest-growing regions, The Shops at Sky View is designed to serve the expanding communities of Lehi, Alpine, and Highland,” the Gardner Group shared in its press release. “The development aims to bring together a mix of highly sought-after food and beverage concepts, along with new-to-market restaurants, helping to fill a local amenity gap while supporting the area’s rapid population growth and evolving consumer demand.”
The first phase of the Shops at Sky View is expected to be delivered in 2027, with development in the area to continue. The company stated that it intends to create a convenient and “high-quality” destination in the Point of the Mountain area.
“The addition of Life Time and Target signals the continued confidence in the Utah market, particularly in Utah County,” Howard Cooke, Senior Development Manager at Gardner Group, is quoted as saying. “Our goal is to deliver a thoughtfully designed destination that offers essential services, lifestyle experiences, and gathering places that meet the needs of the surrounding community.”
The Gardner Group was also responsible for developing the Adobe building in Lehi, the Zions Technology Center in Midvale, Baltic Point in Draper, and redeveloping The Gateway in Salt Lake City.
